Rushed through my morning to get out the door before the downpour started. Missed that by about 15 seconds.
Holy freakin' earthquake, Batman!
Tomorrow Scott leaves for his first full week of being gone this year. I'm making plans to fill my time as best as possible... Jess will come out tomorrow to scrapbook and see my progress on the house. All my cabinets are hung (except the two that aren't in yet), and I have countertops!!! I really need to take pictures again soon. If only I'd paint and lay the foyer tile, this house would be done.
This seems like the first Saturday in weeks that I haven't been working on the house, crawling around fixing things. Though, I wish I was working on something... My foyer still isn't done. :(
Another 6am to 10 pm day of work today. Worked until 3, then went to the house and worked until 10. What fun.
So, we got pretty good amount of snow here today. I knew this would happen yesterday, so I got everything from work that I'd need, and worked from hoe today. It was awesome. Slept in a bit, worked for about 7 hours on Phantom stuff, then knitted a bit. It was a generally good day. I loved being able to stay in my pajamas all day. I wish that I could work from home more often. Maybe I'll see if I can, it's nice to not have to deal with the things that happen daily in the shop, for once. Not really looking forward to going back in tomorrow. I hate the cold weather and I would much rathar be a hermit until spring.
What's the worst thing that could happen to you today?
Well, let's see. There could be something that would affect my check for rent that I turned in early... Which would affect the way my account looks to my bank that's financing my house.. Thus affecting my potential for getting the house...
Oh, wait. Were we talking about things that *could* happen or things that *did* happen?
So. I worked today, and it was a pretty ho-hum day. Then Jeff brought brownies! They were delicious. And they had chocolate chips AND chopped cherries in them. Holy shit. I had at least twelve square inches. If he wasn't the only experienced printer in the shop, I'd say he should quit this and become a world renowned brownie chef. But, we really need him at the shop. Or we'd have to shut down.
I've spent too much time focusing on things today. It's giving me quite the headache. Aack.
