What's the worst vacation you've ever taken?
Easy. It was to a place that I call "chickens in the street" Mexico. It was to be in a wedding, one for which I hadn't quite realized yet, but I disliked both the bride and the groom. The whole trip was one atrocity after another.
I didn't even get to see the city because we were so busy being pushed to do pointless shit that wasted my money, along with the money of others. And don't even get me started on the maid of honor.
And, it's for that exact reason that I'll never say yes to being a bridesmaid ever again.
Worst. Trip. Ever.
Who are you dying to see in concert?
Owl City! And I got tickets. Anyone want to go?
What do your Vox tags say about you? (Add tags to the end of your Vox blog address, and have a look.)
Submitted by Jack Yan.Well, let's see, my biggest tags are:
awesome - australia - blog365 - dog - fun - happiness - happy - knit - knitting - love - paisley - pdx - portland - staffordshire terrier - vacation - work - yarn
So, I'd say I seem to be someone that blogs every day and is pretty happy. But, it seems that not everyone views it this way.
If you woke up one morning and realized you were all-powerful, what is the first thing you would do?

What’s the hardest part about looking for a new job?
Sponsored by Monster. The part where no one calls you back unless you have several people pulling for you on the inside.
I don't know if I mention often enough how lucky I am to have been placed with the two managers I had in my contract position. Without them, life would be pretty rough right now.
Hopefully things are getting better for everyone these days... Now that I'm employed, I hope to be able to help out more.

In other news, work today was really good. I got my desk set up and got to talk a little more with my co-workers, who all seem to be really nice and eager to help me out. Hopefully I'll have my job down pat faster than everyone expects and I can begin to help them out too. :)
How many times did you move growing up? How did moving (or staying put) impact your childhood?
Once. From Hermann, MO to Ballwin, MO. In 1991.
I think it affected my adulthood more than my childhood. The only thing to do there as a teen was get into trouble, so I think being here made it easier to keep myself out of that scene. And I probably had a better chance at colleges to choose from.
And I discovered a love for Target much sooner. :)
What do you wear to feel confident?
Sponsored by Body by Victoria®from Victoria's Secret.
Not a Victoria's Secret bra, that's for sure. I prefer things that are well made and fit correctly, not something that's made to be a one style fits all selling point that falls apart in a matter of just a few months.
In other news, there's not a lot of news here. Which is really disappointing. I really, really, REALLY need to find a job. And fast. I've been telling myself that something's gotta give. I really thought it finally had. But nope.
Maybe next week.
Have you (or someone you're close to) ever been on television?
Funny you should ask. I was just on TV in Australia. :) Here's the link.
My Scott is on TV all the time though. He's mega famous and extraordinarily good looking. It helps that he's written eight books as well. :)
If you could only eat ONE cereal for the rest of your life, which one would you pick?
Easy. Count Chocula. It has the best of everything.
Who is your oldest friend?
Batman.
