It was actually done before we left Australia, but I didn't take pictures then. It's all rested up and wrapped, and ready to go to it's recipient tomorrow night. I hope she likes it. :)
Hey all. I'm home, and back into the groove.
Today was an interesting day. Woke up to wet work clothes, so I threw those in the dryer and ate cake and played on line in my towel while waiting for them to dry. :) It would have been quite the picture, but don't worry, I didn't take one.
Went to work, accomplished a lot, came home and took a bunch of pictures. Here is the progress that was made in flight and on the S bus in Miami on my Tree Jacket:
And then here is the sari skirt that I picked up at the Swap Shop in Florida:
And, though these weren't taken today, here's Tammy's Birthmas yarn that she got in the mail today!!! (And was surprised like I'd hoped she'd be):
It's 521.5 yards of blue faced lester love in about sport weight. It looks exactly as I'd hoped - like a melted purple popsicle. :)
That's all for now. Tomorrow should be a fun day. I'm thinking about attempting to record my very first podcast... It definitely won't be up yet, but it will be a good start!!

Well, it's official. I've bought the domain. I'm slowly building/adjusting the blog template. I'm writing up content. Making real plans.

Tonight, I got a present from Scott:

Well, last night it was this:

It says AUSTRALIA!!!!!! The **ONE** please in the entire world that I've always wished I could go because it has to be the greatest place on earth. AND I GET TO GO! For TEN DAYS!
Holy crap. So damn excited.
I think it's Brisbane that we're going to, but I'm not 100% sure. He keeps telling me, but I keep getting so damn excited that I can't absorb the words into my brain.
Okay, full disclosure: I have NO idea where that saying came from.
On to the blog post.
Tonight, Jess came over and we made mom's 50th party scrapbook. Jessie says she did all the work, which is a lie. Because *I* ordered the pizza, *I* put in "Nightmare Before Christmas" to watch, and *I* also put in "The Little Mermaid" to watch. And *SHE* watched and ate. And sure, she cut a few things, and did a little gluing, but I did color matching, paper picking, and cut and glued a lot of things too.
I've decided that scrap-booking is really time consuming.
End of story.
I am now trying to stay awake to get Scott from the train station at like 1 am. It's not going so well right now...
