Today was a good day. I slept until noon, played online a bit, then went to meet with some folks about design work. Also went to Target and got my fleece sheets. I'm so totally excited to sleep in them tonight. :)
Totally overslept today. I was up until 3 am or so working on stuff.
So, episode #19 is up and ready for listening at the usual place.
Today was super fun. I woke up, got ready, and Kobe helped me ice the cupcakes we made last night. It took freaking forever to get the icing ready, but it got done in time.
I have a lot to share tonight! First, Paisley and I have been working on her Ewok noise. I got her to do a few good ones (in with a bark or two and a lot of jumping around - which is the jingle noise) with my microphone on so that I could share them with you guys. I had to make my prompt noise a few times, but then she got talkative.
Not nearly as far as I thought I'd be on this, but it's been quite a day today. I don't really want to say anything more than that.
Man. I am loving this pattern. It requires a bit more attention to detail now that I'm at the thumb increases, but it's awesome none the less. Here's a new progress shot:
So, I have a new work in progress to share with you all, and I'm way proud of it. It's my first colorwork project, and it's coming along really well. It will be a pair of herringbone fingerless mitts when it grows up, but for now it's just under half of the first one:
Today was relatively eventful. I got a bunch of errands and follow up work done, and then Scott and I crossed the river to Illinois and went to dinner & bowling with friends. It was an awesome time!
...when vox had QOTDs that were worth answering? I need a filler tonight, and this sponsorship nonsense is of no help to me.
