I had the best weekend ever last weekend. For real.
I have had the best time ever this weekend. I'm saving all the good info for the podcast, but here are some pictures:
Today had a major setback. But, instead of going over that, I'd rathar show you pictures of the happy times of my day.
Today was relatively eventful. I got a bunch of errands and follow up work done, and then Scott and I crossed the river to Illinois and went to dinner & bowling with friends. It was an awesome time!
We arrived safely and the plane ride was actually quite enjoyable. I got some knitting done on the ride from St. Louis to LA, but not a lot from LA to Brisbane. After being served what Scott and I called "Second Dinner," they had the cabin lights shut off nearly the entire flight, and it seemed really terrible to turn the lights on while literally everyone but me was sleeping. So, I watched several movies and TV shows, and then after having been up for 27 hours straight, I managed to sleep for about 3. Then we all got breakfast on the plane. There were tons of snacks in between the meals, they'd walk around every 2 or 3 hours, and you'd get another snack pouch. It was awesome. They also gave you a little care package when you got to your seat. It had a blanket, headphones, socks, and some other stuff. I guess when your flight is several thousand dollars, it's not that much to add in things like that. :D
Today was another beautiful day. It was also a big day for Paisley & Oreo! We went to Elysha & Scott's house at about 2 and the play date began.
What does the 4th of July mean to you? How are you celebrating?
The 4th is family time! And BBQ! And poor Paisley hiding under a table a lot of the night. :(

Well, KIP day has come and gone. And I'm quite tired. So, here are a few pictures, instead of me writing:
That sure was a whirl-wind vacation. :) But it was a great time.

In addition, some may say that Scott and I have a smooshy, cheesy kind of love. He mentions me in speeches. And I love him. And he loves cheese. So, in honor of that, here's a clip of one of his speeches that he posted on his blog today. If you watch at the 3:30 point, you'll see that I'm mentioned in that segment - with my pink hair!!!
