A brownie with butter cream icing spread on top.
Which tops a doughnut. But not a doughnut with chocolate icing and creamy icing filling.
If only those two could be combined. That would be the best thing ever.
Today was a good day. Slept in (accidentally), then took Paisley to Jess' to play with Twister for the day. Got lunches for work. Had a good long work day. It looks like I've got quite a bit of work ahead of me. I'm hoping I'll have a job until the end of the month... A job next month would be even better than that.
I now have 2 more repeats done on the scarf thanks to knit night.
Before I left, I was home for a bit and let Paisley out to play in the yard. Came in, did some dishes, came out to see this:

Also, I don't know if I posted pictures, but here's my finished knitted doughnut that I gave to Elysha for Abby tonight:
And now - bed time. I don't think I could keep my eyes open for 5 more minutes if my life depended on it.

Woke up, cleaned up the house a bit, then mom & dad came over and dad helped me lay the tile in my foyer. So, that's all set and will be ready to grout tomorrow, but I don't think I'll get to it until Monday or so. I dunno, maybe I'll go for it Sunday.
After that, I did a bit more about the house and then headed to Scott's. We had dinner, ran a few errands, and then I finished knitting the doughnut. It's not sewn or stuffed yet, so I haven't got any pictures, but maybe I'll take some by Sunday.
Other than that, I got nothin.
I've done it. I have taken the leap and started a project with double pointed needles. It will be a doughnut when it grows up. But now, it's just strange looking:
Maybe it'll be done by tomorrow night. That'd be neat.
