I spent a lot of tonight trying not to think about last night. I got lucky, and had some help at this. We went to see John Legend at the Fox Theater. It was fabulous. India.Arie was supposed to be the opener, but she was sick - which was heart breaking. Because I loooove her.
Today was the last day of my antibiotics!!! I am very excited, but still coughing and wheezing.
What crafts do you make during the holidays?
I typically avoid holiday crafts. I really just like to not worry and turn my lovely hobbies into unappreciated deadline knitting. Yet, this year I have figured out how to fix all this: coffee cozies. Yep, that's right. They are easy, take little to no time at all, bust the stash, while at the same time saying, "I took the time to craft for you" (but not so much time that I will regret it later).
So, look forward to seeing those pop up both here and in my projects on Ravelry.
We took another group of names from the 'still needed' to 'mission accomplished' side on Christmas gifts tonight. I'm feeling pretty good about it now. Not much more to go!

In other news, I think that whatever I'm eating before bed may be laced with some kind of drug or hallucinogen. Last night I had a dream that I was on a cruise ship in the middle of a large pool with large sharks and that we were taken over by unruly robot ghost pirates. The crew was all, "The ship has been taken over! Fear for your lives!" And I was like, "By who? Who do they think they are? I am a graphic designer, I will take care of this!" Totally cocky, 100% super hero mentality, just without the cape. As though being a designer totally trumped robot ghost pirates. So, I went into the underbelly of the deck and there were all these people chained to drawing boards, sketching their lives away. And I was all, "WTF?!? What are you guys doing?" And some of them had limbs missing and everything. And they were all fearful of the lead ghost robot pirate. I had decided that clearly none of them were REAL designers, or they wouldn't put up with this shit. So, when the lead GRP came down to crack the whip, I challenged him to a dual or "Name That Pantone Number" and totally kicked his ass. So, then I was the lead pirate. It was pretty awesome.
This has some strong reflections on me in my awake life, because really, I am convinced that only I could know all the pantone colors by heart. I blame screenprint shops, LOL.

So, that's all the excitement for now. More tomorrow!
What's your favorite thing about Sunday?
KNITTING!!! I didn't actually get to go to knitting today with the ladies, but I did knit quite at bit at home this evening after running errands. And, because of this, the left front AND right front of Tammy's CPH are both DONE!!! And so now, I have the back and hood to finish, and it'll be done! I'm so excited... I can't wait to get pictures of it completed. I'll have some pictures of the finished pieces soon, but for now, I can just report as to their level of done-ness. :)
I hope to have the ribbing on the back completed tomorrow... My new goal is to finish the hoodie by the 15th. I hope that's a goal I can accomplish. :)
