3. When do you put your Christmas tree up? Mostly whenever I feel the need. I'm thinking that may be tonight, I can always have 2 trees if I get my big one...
4. When do you take your Christmas tree down? I try to leave it up until my birthday (January 30th). This is mostly because I always wanted to leave it up until then, and my parents always said no. :(
5. Do you like egg nog? HECK YES! Nothing makes me happier. Well, nothing other than egg nog + oreos. :)
6. Do you have a nativity scene? Nope. I'm not religious. Plus, they are creepy. I would like a little holiday skeleton town to put up though.
7. Favorite gift received as a child? I think my most favorite (and for sure most memorable) gift was from my Uncle Eddie. He got me a little battery operated hamster that you put in a hamster ball and it rolled all around and was awesome. The best part was that you didn't have to feed it or give it water, it didn't smell, and there was no poo. It was great.
8. Hardest person(s) to buy for? My older sister. She never really needs anything, and when she does she just buys it. Scott is also hard to shop for, but that is because I want to get him something really great every time, and I set a high standard for myself very early on. I'm struggling with that this year.
9. Easiest person to buy for? My little sister, Jess. She always knows just what she wants and it's always easy to find. She is the only person I have something for so far. :)
10. Worst Christmas gift received? I had an ex boyfriend that was a real douche bag. He always tried really hard to get me things I liked, or at least seemed to, but it was always so damn far off. I can't believe I let that last more than one occasion. *sigh*
11. Mail or email Christmas cards? Last year, Scott and I made a christmas video and it went over really well. I think this year we will do another video, and maybe a card to a few of our favorite people. :)
12. Favorite Christmas movie? Easily "Nightmare Before Christmas", runner up would be "A Year Without a Santa Claus"
13. When do you start shopping for Christmas? I try to start early, but this mostly depends on when I have to the money or when I stumble upon the perfect gift. This year is a hard one.
14. Have you ever recycled a Christmas present? No. But, I like the idea of those recycled sweater blankets made from felted sweaters from goodwill. I think that is not even the start of the question, but still.
15. Favorite food to eat at Christmas? Thanksgiving. I would eat Thanksgiving dinner at every holiday if I could.
16. Coloured or clear lights? Colored!!!! White lights are so stupid.
17. Angel or star on tree top? Neither. Who needs a topper to distract from a tree that is already awesome? Not I.
18. Open Christmas Eve or Christmas morning? We have always done Christmas eve at my family. This way we can all sleep in on Christmas and not worry. Though, now my sister makes brunch on Christmas morning, and that is worth waking up for.
19. Do you like fruit cake? I will assume this means pie. To which I will answer, sometimes.
20. The most annoying thing about this time of year? I'm not sure if it's the overload of family time or the stress of everyone overspending to out do each other. I'd say they're even.

Everyone has pudding here on christmas day - we cover it with brandy sauce. I'm not a huge fan but it's the tradition. People also make these awful things called mince pies - they make a similar dried fruit slop and put it in pastry. For some reason they call it mince.
